End Kwote

After it's all said and done, life's just a bunch of kwotes

A few days ago, I had a really cool opportunity. I got to interview someone who does what I love more than anything for a living. I got to interview an author.

Some background:

I work for my college radio station, WSBU 88.3 F.M., “The Buzz”. I’m the Production Director. Basically, I take care of the computers and I produce ads and other fun stuff that goes on the air. It’s pretty neat, as far as extracurriculars go.

A little while ago, the station manager asked me to do an interview with an author named Larry Hochwald. Larry had just released a new book titled Not From Around Here. Honestly, I thought she texted the wrong person, seeing as how I’ve never conducted an interview in my life.

But, I said I’d do it. What could be better than talking to someone who’s actually written a book?

Even though I was slightly nervous (actually, I was nervous to the point of arm-pit perspiration), the interview was one of the coolest things I’ve ever done. Talking with Larry, a guy with a mega-creative brain, was beyond interesting. Discussing his book, Not From Around Here, was a genuinely awesome experience.

Well, I don’t wana give away too much. Here’s the interview, featuring myself and the incredible Larry Hochwald.

Pretty cool, huh? Despite my inexperience, I think it went well.

I highly suggest you buy Larry’s book, Not From Around Here. It’s packed with amazing stories.

Big thanks to Larry Hochwald for letting me interview him. It’s much appreciated.

Don’t forget to check out his book. You won’t regret it.
